Respite care is available for a short-term stay. (Respite care being a temporary living arrangement designed to provide personal care during vacation time, recuperation following a hospital stay and/or respite time for those persons who usually provide care.) The daily rate is $89 per day.

Residents requiring special needs are provided a list of charges for care.

Admission

A medical evaluation signed by the resident's physician is required before all admissions. If a resident is being transferred from a hospital or nursing home, the resident's physician and social service department will assist in the referral and admission process. At the time of admission, all of the residents' financial and service agreements are completed, and a personal care and mobility assessment is performed.

Walnut Ridge Memory Care is licensed as a personal care residence by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. Quality care and services are provided without regard to race, color, religion, creed, handicap, ancestry, natural origin (including limited English proficiency), age, or sex.
