Comfort and Care
Our mission at Walnut Ridge Memory Care is to maximize and blend compassionate care with the fullest understanding of Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.
A full time activity director is prepared to offer the following for our residents:
- Personilized activity programs matched to cognitive abilities.
- Group activities programmed with social characteristics in mind, including pet therapy, and outside entertainment.
- Physical activities to coincide with the need for stimulation.
The staff at Walnut Ridge Memory Care is trained with years of experience and on duty 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist with the daily living activities. Some of which include:
- Assistance with hygiene and grooming.
- Beauty salon and barber services.
- Assistance with medication administration and monitoring, supervised by our registered nurse.
- Incontinence care and supplies.
- Regularly scheduled room cleaning and flat linen service.
- Well-balanced, appetizing meals with daily snacks to supplement nutritional needs.
